On 1-3 December 2014 the Multinational Development Policy Dialogue of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organized a dialogue programme for a delegation of representatives of the US House Committee on Energy and Commerce. The group participated in high-level meetings in Brussels with experts in energy security and climate change. The focus of the talks were the role and importance of international climate targets, the increase in the use of renewable energies and the reduction of energy dependence.
